Down Goes Brown was saying on twitter the other day that he thinks Berger’s articles are autogenerated. While I certainly don’t have the coding expertise to create an autogenerator, we can still have a little fun guessing what his article template is. Maybe this is what it looks like:

Title of Article: Leafs _____ Starting to _____ _____

Content:

The Leafs _____ are off to an incredibly _____ season. Coach _____ and GM _____ seem to be completely _____ with their team. Not to mention [INSERT YOUR BEST FAN INSULT HERE]. But that’s to be expected.

The city of Toronto has become _____ with their _____, as can be expected from a franchise that runs a profit as tidily as MLSE. As you know, the Leafs _____ is unique in the NHL because it’s franchise is totally _____.

The team seems utterly incapable of _____, _____, _____, _____, and _____, but on the bright side they’re ok at _____. That won’t be enough for a playoff run, but it will suffice for Leafs fans - which I refrain are the only fanbase in the league with _____ fans. The people in the lower bowl of the Air Canada Center are always _____ anyways.

Do I need to remind you about _____ or am I the only one who knows that? Or the fact that the Leafs haven’t made the playoffs in _____? Or that the Leafs trade away too many _____, and have no _____?

Looks like another _____ season in Loserville, and the _____, _____, and _____ are all to blame. At least I make a ton of money doing my job! Someone’s gotta do it right?
